About Champtone Custom Guitars...

Jeff Kadlic here, founder of Champtone Custom Guitars. Thank you for checking out the site. It’s been a dream of mine for many years to create and provide products for guitar players like me who are on a quest to improve and customize their instruments in order to achieve their personal goals as musician and artist. I’ve spent countless hours researching, experimenting with different parts, examining the craftsmanship of great instruments, both old and new, and "talking shop" with respected players, builders and sound engineers whenever I have had the chance.

I guess you could say that the concept for Champtone really came from how my experience as a musician and sound professional helped to evolve my own playing and interest in refining my “sound”.

I’m proud to say that all the Champtone kits featured here are hand-made by me with complete attention to quality and detail. Every component of my kits and all the products offered on this site have been researched and selected because of their quality, reputation and performance. That’s one of the benefits of being a custom shop; I’m not obligated to carry just any product… I pick what I like and what I believe in! 

I believe that customization is what brings out the best in a guitar. Sometimes that customization is a pro set-up; sometimes it's more than that. Many of the best sounding and playing instruments are just that because they have been refined over the course of their life and have been well used! Getting good sounds from your guitar should be easy, and that’s where Champtone comes in. Once you’ve got your instrument dialed-in, you can focus your concentration on what really matters… playing, playing, playing.
